An established accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Audit Manager to join its growing team. This varied role combines audit management, business advisory and team development, working with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and multinational subsidiaries.

The Role

• Manage a diverse client portfolio, overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion.

• Provide business advisory and value-added services tailored to clients’ needs.

• Build long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.

• Identify opportunities to provide additional support and advice.

• Work closely with Partners to develop existing accounts and grow new client relationships.

• Contribute to the development of new sectors and the wider client portfolio.

• Support and develop team members as the department grows.

• Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client services.

Your Experience

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, with at least two years’ post-qualification experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.

• Experience managing a client portfolio within accountancy practice.

• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business advisory and business development.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on developing others.

• Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, alongside a proactive approach.
