The Role

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion across a range of sectors.

• Develop audit plans, identify key risks and brief engagement teams on the approach.

• Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports, highlighting findings and practical recommendations.

• Manage multiple assignments, allocating time and resources to meet agreed budgets and deadlines.

• Build strong working relationships with clients and liaise with their teams throughout the audit process.

• Keep Partners informed of progress, significant findings and issues requiring attention.

• Deliver high-quality audit work in line with Irish GAAP, FRS 102 and relevant statutory requirements.

• Supervise, train and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development.

Your Experience

• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least three years of practical audit experience.

• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, FRS 102 and the Companies Act 2014.

• Experience delivering audit assignments across a varied client portfolio.

• Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining audit quality and client service.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence discussing findings with clients and senior colleagues.

• A sound understanding of audit risk, internal controls and effective audit planning.
