An established accountancy practice is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join its growing team. This opportunity would suit an experienced Audit Manager ready to step up, or an existing Senior Manager seeking greater responsibility, varied client exposure and further progression.
Lead a diverse client portfolio, overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and understanding their wider business needs.
Present audit findings to senior management and Boards, providing practical recommendations and commercial insight.
Identify opportunities to deliver business advisory and additional client services.
Contribute to portfolio growth by developing new client relationships and sector opportunities.
Coach and develop Managers, Seniors and Trainees.
Take responsibility for audit quality, efficiency and delivery, maintaining high technical and professional standards.
Support Partners with the strategic development of the department.
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, with experience at Audit Manager level or above.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, with significant client portfolio management experience.
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for advisory services.
Proven leadership skills, with experience developing and motivating teams.
Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior management and Boards.
Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Salary of €80,000+
