FDD Senior Manager

About the Role

A leading professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Due Diligence Senior Manager to join its growing Corporate Finance team.

This is a senior role offering the opportunity to lead and support financial due diligence engagements across both buy-side and sell-side transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, management teams and other professional advisers, while also contributing to business development and the continued growth of the team.

The wider Corporate Finance practice advises clients on transactions, acquisitions and investments, with capabilities spanning financial due diligence, M&A advisory and valuations.

Candidates should have previous transaction services or financial due diligence experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial analysis and due diligence reports.
• Prepare management meeting agendas and lead management Q&A sessions.
• Identify key transaction issues, risks and commercial observations.
• Draft and review due diligence reports and oversee work prepared by junior team members.
• Liaise with clients, target companies and external professional advisers.
• Lead project management across engagements and provide regular client updates.
• Prepare and lead proposals, pitches and other business development activities.
• Manage, coach and support the development of junior team members.

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 4+ years’ experience within Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or a closely related environment.
• Experience across a range of transaction types and deal sizes.
• A proven ability to lead transactions and manage project teams.
• Strong attention to detail, professional judgement and integrity.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including an understanding of IFRS and relevant local GAAP.
• A recognised professional accountancy qualification.
