HireIQ is partnering with an industry-leading company to appoint a motivated and ambitious Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll join an established business that promotes productivity, opportunity and professional development. This is an excellent role for an accountant looking to build on their experience and broaden their exposure

About the job: 

• Prepare monthly management accounts, journals and reconciliations.
• Analyse project costs, margins and profitability
• Support budgets, forecasts and departmental reviews.
• Partner with managers to inform commercial decisions.
• Manage banking, payments, invoicing and cash collection.
• Assist with tax compliance, grant claims and statistical returns.
• Improve finance processes and Excel reporting tools.
• Support and mentor finance apprentices.

About you: 

• Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA 
• Industry experience advantageous 
• Strong Excel skills
