HireIQ is recruiting for a mid-tier practice in Sandyford that is open to appointing at either Audit Senior or Audit Assistant Manager level. The role would suit a qualified auditor looking for more ownership of engagements or an experienced Senior ready to take on broader responsibility for audit delivery and team supervision.

The Role

• Lead statutory audits from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork and completion.

• Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, agree timelines and resolve audit queries.

• Review audit files and financial statements, raising technical issues with the Manager or Partner as needed.

• Delegate work to junior team members, review their progress and provide feedback.

• At Assistant Manager level, coordinate resourcing, budgets and deadlines across several engagements and review files before Manager or Partner sign-off.

Your Experience

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with external audit experience in Irish practice.

• Experience leading statutory audit assignments and working directly with clients.

• Good working knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.

• For Assistant Manager level, experience reviewing audit files and supervising staff across multiple engagements.

The Rewards

• €50,000–€65,000 depending on experience.
