About the Company:

HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with an established professional services firm to recruit an Internal Audit Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio while taking on greater responsibility for audit assignments, client relationships and the development of junior team members.

 

About the Role:

• Planning and delivering internal audit assignments across a range of clients and industries

• Assessing internal controls, identifying potential risks and recommending improvements

• Conducting financial, operational and compliance audits

• Preparing clear audit reports, presenting findings and providing practical recommendations to clients

• Reviewing the work of junior auditors and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard

• Supporting the training, mentoring and development of junior team members

• Building strong relationships with clients and providing advice on improving their internal processes and controls

 

About you:

• Degree qualified (minimum 2:1) and professionally qualified through ACCA, ACA, ICAS or the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors

• Experience within internal or external audit

• Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, controls and risk assessment

• Previous experience supervising or managing junior team members

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
