About the company

A high-growth business in Belfast are seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is a newly created role and would be ideal for a Newly Qualified Accountant taking their first step into industry, or someone already working in an industry-based role. 

The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leadership and gain broad exposure across financial reporting, month-end, business partnering and process improvement. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of monthly management information
• Variance analysis and monthly reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany accounting
• VAT returns
• Working closely with AP and procurement teams
• Business partnering with commercial teams
• Supporting improvements across finance systems and processes
• Assisting with external audit requirements

 

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong financial reporting experience
• Management accounts and/or statutory accounts experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
