HireIQ is recruiting an Audit Associate Director for an accountancy and advisory firm in Dublin. The role would suit an experienced Audit Senior Manager ready to step up or an Associate Director looking to take on a new portfolio within non-financial services audit.

The Role

• Lead a portfolio of non-FS statutory audit clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to completion.

• Review complex audit files and financial statements, working with Partners to resolve significant technical and risk matters before sign-off.

• Oversee engagement budgets, fees and resourcing, balancing deadlines and workloads across the portfolio.

• Build relationships with senior client contacts and communicate audit findings clearly.

• Coach Audit Managers, support their development and help maintain consistent audit quality across the team.

Your Experience

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with external audit experience in Irish practice.

• Currently working at Audit Senior Manager or Associate Director level, with experience in non-FS audit.

• Experience managing a portfolio, reviewing complex engagements and working with senior client stakeholders.

• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.

• Experience developing Managers and overseeing audit delivery across multiple engagements.
